Howard Hume
The "wealthy young tycoon" who proposes marriage to Lucy Lane when she temporarily gains super-powers due to the effects of Red Kryptonite. When Jimmy Olsen, acting on a request from Superman, tricks Lucy into losing her powers, Hume breaks off the engagement, stating: "Our engagement's off, Lucy! When you had super-powers, you fascinated me! But now that you're like any other girl, I know you don't expect me to marry you!" (SPJO No. 67/3, Mar 1963: "Super Lucy Lane").
