When young Bruce's parents are gunned down in front of a movie theatre by a cheap thug, Joe Chill, Bruce devotes his life to fighting evil as The Bat-Man (later Batman).
His young ward, Dick Grayson, is secretly Robin, the Boy Wonder.
Superman and Batman first discovered each other's secret identities in Superman 76 and have worked together as a team ever since.
