History

Zora Vi-Lar took on Supergirl as the “Black Flame.” She was a jealous scientist female from the bottled city of Kandor, she escaped in order to strip Supergirl of her powers. However, she was stripped of her powers through exposure to Gold Kryptonite, she was aprehended back in Kandor and subsequently reformed. She was a close friend of the criminal Lesla, whom took the surname Lar from Black Flame's family.

Known Powers: While operating on Earth, Black Flame developed physical attributes equitable to that of her arch-foe, Supergirl. However, due to the failure of one of her machinations, she permanently lost all of her superhuman abilities due to exposure to Gold Kryptonite.

Strength Level: Black Flame possessed the strength level of a Kryptonian female her age, size and weight who engaged in moderate regular exercise. While active within an environment under a yellow sun, Black Flame's strength level increased to superhuman levels.
